SCOM2012: Run As Profile for notification Service does not work

Hi,

today I wanted to setup the notification component like in Kevin Holmans Blog

Since the exchange I m using requires auth. I created an account with an active mb as it says in this article. As recommended I ve created an run as account using the cred. of the mailbox account and the specific run as profile like discribed.

For some reason the MonitoringHost.exe with the specofoc account won’t start…..

But when I use the pre defined Run as Profile “Notification Account” and add the specific user, everything works as it should.

Whats wrong ?
